I loved growing up in Hawaii! One of my favorite hobbies growing up was bodyboarding on the North Shore of Oahu. No I wasn’t an amazing surfer, but I loved being in the water and thrill of riding down the face of a wave.
I recently joined my buddy Chris Kincade to shoot round one of the Mike Stewart Bodyboarding contest held at Banzai Pipeline. It was a lot of fun being back at one of my favorite breaks shooting with our new Sony FS5. Shooting fast-paced, high dynamic range sports is always a challenge so it was a good way to put the FS5 through it’s paces. You’ll get an idea of where the camera shines, and where it falls apart. All in all, it was a great day with some rad waves!
