Working with Ric Noyle and Zak Noyle on Hawaii’s very eaturedirst photo convention (Photo Con Hawaii) was amazing. They had speakers from Phase One, Canon and Sony talking about their creative journeys and sharing tips on everything from lighting and composition to distribution and inspiration.
Along with the presentations from the experts, there was also a room full of technology from Lume cube, Axis 360/Aquatech, Printing and travel companies along with a drone cage at the DJI booth, free sensor cleaning by Canon, A7Rii Giveaway by Sony and reps from Pro Camera Hawaii, Hawaii Camera and Flux all there to connect with everyone.
Because the video industry wasn’t quite represented, I contacted James Lucarelli of Red Digital Cinema who brought down an 8k Weapon and a 5k Scarlet-W. Over the two-day convention, we talked to hundreds of attendees about the technology and workflow and made tons of friends along the way.
